Luke Kopp here, serving our students as the Director of Student Activities! I've been involved in activities ever since middle school with our homeroom clubs and have remained just as active until the completion of my undergraduate days.
I currently hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice where I focused on Digital Forensics, where I had the passion to work with the West Virginia State Police as a Forensic scientist. However, during my college days, I fell in love with our Campus Activities Board, where I have served a number of different positions. Shortly after my graduation, a new position was created as the Coordinator of Student Activities, in which I applied and was hired, where I completed my Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership.
Upon completion of my Masters, I have been hired as the Director of Student Activities, where my unique and technical skills were honed in and have been able to catch the University of Pikeville up to more modern times.
My ultimate goal is to eventually become a Dean of Students at a small institution, but for now I can't imagine myself doing anything other than Student Activities and working daily with our student and student leaders!
